SAME-SEX MARRIAGE?

Hello everyone! I am posting blog again. I have been very busy. I feel that writing is not really my forte you know. Somehow, I just feel some responsibility to impart certain knowledge to you out there. I hope I can improve my writing more. I will be posting few more blogs along this line with spiritual themes then afterwards I will shift to something that is more scientific, perhaps involving quantum physics, weird mathematics, golden ratio, etc.

I did this one in haste to keep up with the current events here in Australia. The Australian citizens are starting to make postal votes for or against same-sex marriage. I decided to discuss this topic as I believe that there are concepts that will probably not find place on the political debate hall as well as in the media.

The concept I am talking about is in relation with the law of karma and reincarnation. I have spoken in my previous topic that according to Ascended Master Activities, they who are born gays or lesbians is a result of their abuses of masculine or feminine polarity in their past lives. To explain it again, a normal male person has around 55% masculine polarity (or male hormones) and 45% feminine polarity (or female hormones); a normal female person has some 55% feminine polarity (female hormones) and 45% male polarity or (male hormones). If a male person abuses his masculine polarity like for example repeatedly battering his wife, or being a stripper as his job; this will result in finding himself turning into gay person (where the female hormones becoming dominant in his body) if not in this present life in his next life. Similarly, this can happen in a female person who for a long time abuses her feminine polarity such as by being a stripper and prostitute which can turn her into being lesbian. In other words, it is karma due to abuse of one of the polarities. I have no known academic or scientific research sources to back this up. But this is observable in our society. You would find people who for many years have been strippers or prostitutes in the pub gradually turning into gays or lesbians. If there would be some psychological or sociological researches on this area of study, I am positive that they will find conclusively that this is correct.  As far as I know, based on my search, there is no conclusive findings yet of the causes of gay and lesbianism.

I reckon it is correct to say that gay and lesbianism can be likened to a disease, which in my opinion can be cured by science someday if it is simply due to hormonal imbalances or polarity reversals.  Meantime, since it is their karma, it is more helpful for them to accept it and endeavor to balance their karma or heal themselves. They should not engage in homosexuality, i.e., having sexual acts with same-sex. Otherwise, they could be born as gays or lesbians again, having unable to balance their karma. We surely can find individuals in our society who healed themselves of homosexual tendency. I recall that there is a member of The Summit Lighthouse who recounted the reversal of his gay tendencies on the I AM Witness section of the Pearls of Wisdom. I realized that if there is someone who can do it, others with the same predicaments can do it too.

In my opinion, the sexual acts between same-sex couple is the one labeled as sin in the Bible, not the same-sex relationships per se. Because practically speaking, there is nothing wrong with same-sex relationships if they don’t engage in sexual acts.  It is simply close relationships or partnerships. (somewhat similar with close friendships between two men or two women except that same-sex couple is engaged). This is likely to happen if the couple are both gays or both lesbians because their sexual urges are probably nil. The problem arises if one of the same-sex couple is a normal male or female because of the greater tendency to satisfy their base sexual urges. Perhaps the latter is something to be avoided. I do not know if it is possible to exclude this kind of relationship if there would be same-sex marriage or whatever the proper term that might be called. If it is not possible, it is better not to have a same-sex marriage at all in my own view.

On the other hand, we know that many heterosexual relationships commit sexual intercourses that are considered inappropriate and similar in nature with same-sex’s. Aren’t these people also committing sin? I remember in my association with The Summit Lighthouse (TSL) group in the Philippines, that there was a time when Mrs. Prophet, the former Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood, said in her lecture that the only purpose of sex is for pro-creation. If this is true (I believe it is), many are committing sins.  Actually, in my opinion any form of inordinate sensuality is a sin. We can find in Colossians 2:23 that St Paul advises the people to “restrain your sensual indulgences”. Accordingly, multitude of activities will fall under this category such as surfeiting one’s self in eating too much foods or addictive substances like drugs, nicotine and alcohol; or even listening and dancing to the tune of dissonant rock music which can excite your brain and make you high. These activities are surely lower vibrations. There is no sacredness in it. It is actually a desecration of the Divine Mother (symbolic of the matter universe including our own physical bodies). It prevents the rising of the Mother Light (Kundalini fire) from the base-of-the-spine chakra (spiritual centre) to the third-eye chakra. It prevents us from entering the Holy Christ Consciousness which is considered as the Kingdom of Heaven in the Bible based on Ascended Master Teachings. So, they who do these things cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven (cannot have the Divine Consciousness)

It is worth mentioning here that if the only purpose of sex is pro-creation, this means that those who try to raise the kundalini fire through sex like the Hindu tantra yoga or Taoist’s sexual kung fu is wrong. The gentle raising of the kundalini fire (Mother Light) can be done through the regular recitation of Hail Mary, Bija (seed syllables) and other mantras.

You would think that if sensuality is a sin, sex therefore is a sin. We should therefore not have any sex which however, will result in the cessation of human evolution. The following explanation will tell us that there is a kind of sex that is transcendental, something that can be called Sacred Energy eXchange. Yes, Sacred Energy Exchange. You would recall in my previous blog “The Story of Adam and Eve” that before the fall of man, the first and third root races have all won their ascensions physically. All lived in harmony on the paradise earth. There were no deaths and no reincarnations yet. Their bodies were transparent which probably cannot be seen by our naked eye today. Even the very atomic structure of the earth was not as it is today. Their manner of sexual intercourses was not as it is today.  It was spiritual kind of sex – sacred energy exchange. I was told ( I remember in the TSL Group in the Philippines) that during those times, simply facing the palms of their hands towards each other already constitutes an ecstatic sex (Sacred Energy eXchange). I am not sure though on this.   But there was even joke in the group where some members were doing a kind of kid’s game where they clap each other’s hands together and they said to other members “We are having sex!” with a good laugh. Whatever it was, it surely was not the kind of sex that we mortal man are doing today. Perhaps it was chakral energy exchanges of sort.

After the fall of man which occurred in the fourth root race, the atomic structures of the earth’s landmasses, including the floras and faunas gradually changed including the physical bodies of mankind which became dense and opaque as it is today. Their transcendental kind of sexual intercourse did not work anymore. Death set in. It became necessary to put into operation (by the Lords of Karma) the law of karma and reincarnation. Thus sex, as it is today, became necessary for pro-creation. Now in this mundane existence, how then do we turn sex as sacred energy exchange? Frankly, I do not know.  There must be love of course, and it is only for pro-creation bearing in mind that you are sponsoring a soul to be re-embodied on earth under your loving care and spiritual guidance.

In Hindu scriptures, particularly the Rasa Lila in Srimad Bhagvatam, there is a story of loving relationship between Lord Krishna and Goddess Sri Radharani. Radharani is considered symbolically as the feminine counterpart and the other half of Krishna. (This could be equivalent to Twin Flame in Ascended Master Teachings). Lord Krishna and Radharani are mutually and strongly attracted to each other. Radharani is also considered as the best devotee and worshipper of Krishna. They eternally enjoy each other’s company. The magnificent place where they always meet is in Vrndana forest. Their romantic relationship, as portrayed in the scripture, somewhat resembles the human relationship but it is transcendental in nature. It is full of symbolical meaning. For example, when Krishna sees the beautiful legs and limbs of Radharani, He sees those like the flowering vines shining with an ocean of wonderful moonlight or molten gold; when He sees her beautiful breast, He actually sees golden lotus flowers or sometimes two wonderful golden mountains. Every part and graceful movement of Radharani’s body- including her broad hips, slender waist, lips – are full of wondrous transcendental meaning. And when they engage in amorous pastimes, they drown themselves in each other’s ocean- nectar of purest Divine Love. Then all the moving and non-moving entities are graced and blessed by their transcendental amorous relationship. It is to be noted here that being transcendental, there is no lust and sensuality whatsoever in Radha-Krishna relationships. In fact, ironically some group meditates on Krishna and Radharani’s amorous pastimes for the purpose of casting out their sensuality. They also recite the mantras to this Divine Personalities for such purpose. Some even uses this meditation and mantra during sexual intercourse although there are other groups that oppose it. I agree with the latter. I believe its meditation and mantras should only be used alone individually.

Any way, it is obvious that this transcendental amorous relationship as depicted in this sacred Hindu Texts is restricted between man and woman.  In fact, we can never find in any divinely inspired Scriptures of the world any shred of sacred same-sex relationships and marriages. I believe it is because marriage by definition, is truly intended to be between two dissimilar polarities – male and female. Another reason is gays and lesbians are not normal sexual orientation as I have explained above.  This is likely the reason why there are only small population of them in comparison with the majority.  This is not to say that we ostracize them of course. We should accept them in our society because they are normal person like us. It is only their sexual orientation that is not normal. I think their social acceptance is already the prevailing sentiments in many countries. In fairness to gays and lesbians, we see lots of them who are talented and excel in many of their vocation and career. And to me, many of them seem to always exude happiness as they can always quip jokes and express themselves more freely. That is probably one of the advantage of being gays and probably lesbians as well. Many of them are devoted in their faiths too.

If the population of gays and lesbians increases, this is an indication that many are not balancing their karma due to abuse of polarity or many are still abusing it. One way to diminish this is to spread this kind of teaching so that steps can be done to curtail prostitution, bullying wives by husbands and other acts that abuse the masculine or feminine polarity including same-sex sexual relationships. Most importantly, application of Ascended Master Teachings such as transmutation of karma by doing violet flame decrees, prayers and meditations. 

Going back now to the question, whether we should allow same-sex marriage or not, I prefer to answer “no” because I reckon that it would be better for them to remain single. They are closer to balancing their karma that way. Although gays and lesbian are by instinct attracted to same sex because the opposite hormone is dominant in their bodies, I believe it can be controlled. There are many single men and women who remain single all their lives and some even loved it. Some may have gone through emotional suffering but they overcame it anyhow.  We will find them having meaningful relationships with parents, siblings, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends, and even with adopted children that they have already brought up. Most importantly, apart from all this, is having personal relationships with Holy Christ Presence and Ascended Masters like Jesus, Mother Mary, Kuan Yin, Gautama Buddha, Krishna and many others that can ease our suffering. God will be jealous if we exclude Him from our human relationships for in that sense we are making our relationships as our idol. Remember that our God is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14).  If these men and women had done it, gays and lesbians can do it as well. Surely, we can find in our society many gays and lesbians who have gone through this single life and now lead a happy satisfying life. Some have even married the opposite sex. Why do others like them could not do it?

It is understandable that there are those who has a deep longing to have a fulfilling husband-and-wife relationship that they could not find, and thus find themselves having alternative relationship with the same-sex whom they love. We need to understand them because it could be part of their human weakness. We all have our own weaknesses; it is just different from others. Perhaps this part of their psyche needs healing. Although we can say that human has basic social needs, it also has spiritual needs which should override the former. Most of human relationships or so-called love (same-sex or heterosexual) operates only at human level. Love in this case only seeks to satisfy each other’s human needs, desires, emotions, etc. In contrast, Divine Love seeks to nurture each other’s spiritual growth and relationship with the Divine. If you have Divine Love and personal relationship with God, your human relationships will begin to operate at Divine level. Human love is mostly based on sympathy not compassion. There is a striking difference between the two. Let’s take for example that someone had met an accident and in excruciating pain, a person who is too sympathetic would almost feel the same pain and unable to do the proper thing; whereas someone who has love and compassion would immediately do something to help and alleviate the pain. Another example is if there is a friend who experiences certain grief and sadness owing to a loss of a loved one, the person who is sympathetic would almost experience the same thing. He or she commiserates to a friend; someone who is compassionate will realize the negativity of feeling and would do something to make the situation better in a loving way. At a certain degree, human love is similar with those. The partners are sympathetic to each other’s feelings and needs. I think those who are in favor of same-sex marriage are mostly sympathetic to this kind of relationship as well. It is not Divine Love. If they truly love them they will desire to lift them up spiritually and help them balance their karma. As you can see here Divine Love is much different from human love.

Even the number of governments who enacted laws in favor of same-sex marriage were most probably carried by sympathy and perhaps convinced by the thought that gays and lesbians are normal sexual orientation. I believe they made mistakes here and I am hoping that someday the concepts that I have penned herein will be realized to be true by the many. I also believe that someday same-sex marriage will fade because the population of gays and lesbians will diminish as there will be healings and balancing of karma as humanity evolves progressively.         

In Australia, de facto relationships (which include same-sex relationship) is already recognized by law.  Same-sex couple have equal rights and claims with heterosexual married couples as stated in the Family Law Act if one of the four gateway criteria is met. Two of these four gateways criteria can be easily met by same-sex couple. One is: the total periods of the de facto relationship is at least two years; and the other is that the relationship is or was registered under a prescribed law of a State or Territory.  The above clearly shows that there is nothing to debate on about legal rights and claim. Then why do advocates of same-sex couples still want to marry? I reckon they simply like to have the right to marry. Thus, invoking marriage and human rights equality.  In my opinion, it is incorrect to advance equality here because it will change the traditional definition of marriage which is only between man and woman. I agree with the analogy given by one of the Anglican Archbishop aired in a TV interview regarding this issue. He said that in Australian footy, all players are male. If we will introduce more gay players we will be changing or perhaps spoil the said sport. But we are not dealing here with mere sport, the traditional religious belief since time immemorial is at stake here. Although some mainstream religions can have error in their interpretation of their scriptures, I think they are correct on this one – marriage and sexual relationship is ideally intended between man and woman. But it doesn’t mean same sex marriage or relationship will invite fire and brimstone to rain down the country.

It is possible that marriage equality can also engender polygamy because in a heterosexual married couple, a man may have a de facto relationship with another woman (or perhaps a gay) in the same property and will invoke the right to marry the latter too.  In effect, adultery will be repealed. Or perhaps the man has two de facto relationships which I think is also recognized by law in Australia, (Family Legal Sydney)  and would want to marry both, and would thus appeal for marriage equality as well. So, I think it is not viable to invoke marriage equality on this issue.

To me, should there be same-sex marriage, my concern is the freedom of speech and religion could be put in jeopardy. There could be a collision between law and religion like what happened to some cases in Canada. We hope that the marriage law that will be put into effect should the “yes” vote wins here in Australia will respect the freedom of religious sects to decide whether they can officiate same-sex marriage or not in accordance with their beliefs. That means same-sex couple can only have civil marriage if the religious sect refuses its solemnization. I also agree with some suggestions to use other term in place of “marriage” for same-sex couple. Maybe the term “Permanent Union” or “Partner-for-life” or “Lifetime-Partnership” could be used.

Should the “No” votes wins, there is nothing to be disappointed about for gays and lesbians. Remember that the ideal for them is to try to become normal man or woman to balance their karma. Their engagement in same-sex relationships can be considered only as a reprieve due to their inability to become the normal gender, which is understandable. To clamor for marriage in the name of equality would mean going further away to the success of balancing karma. To me, it would be preferable for them not to have a permanent same-sex relationship in my opinion.    

Transsexualism to me is surely a “no”. It means to me that they already surrender the fight to balancing their karma. It could create further karma depending upon the behavior and adaptation to change.  Besides, it means changing the natural sex at birth. Had they already gone through sex change and realized lately that it was wrong, they should not feel guilty that could set them into depression or perhaps commit suicide. They simply can look at it in a positive way. They can just go on with their lives, remaining single and become passionate in their hobbies or vocation. They can advise other gays not to imitate him on undergoing sex change and thereby balancing their karmas that way. If it’s possible they can probably return to their original gender through second sex change.

To me, one of the compelling reason why I do not approve of sex change is because it could be a precursor that scientists can just tamper with our natural bodies in any way they like. Next thing could be they can legally replace our body parts with that of animals. You would recall that I mentioned in previous blog posts of abuses of scientists 100,000 years ago about tampering the genes that can produce half-man half animals, which led to the sinking of Lemurian continent as karmic reckoning. Not all that scientists do are good. Simply because it can be done scientifically means it is morally correct. I reckon it is better to ban sex-change. It is best to have science under Divine aegis.

SPIRITUALITY IN BUSINESS AND THE WORKPLACE

This topic comes to mind in the hope that it will contribute for the betterment of business and work environment. Considering that approximately 67 % of the waking hours of working men and women are spent in the workplace, it stands to reason that this aspect of life must be given wholehearted attention for our spiritual development. Besides, we know that spirituality is not intended to be confined within the spiritual/religious organizations. It should be part of the air we breathe in order to advance fully in our spiritual path. Furthermore, based on my personal observations and experiences and I think you will agree with me as I give examples later that there are practices in the business and work environment that need renewal and application of spirituality. I believe there is a relation between spirituality and the sustainability of the economy as you will see in my explanation later.

It is true that putting up and managing a business has attendant purpose of creating wealth. But to me, creating wealth and abundant life should come hand in hand with spirituality. In fact creating wealth can be a means to one’s spiritual path. How is this so? We create wealth not just for personal use and comfort but also to serve God, man, and society.  It is for the love and service of God and mankind. In a true spiritual path where we want to attain oneness with our God Presence, everything that we do is for God, and this includes business and work. In this view, you don’t make money just for a sheer purpose of amassing wealth for power, fame and worldly pleasure. You will be motivated to use your God-given talent, skills, ability, education and knowledge to create a business that you are passionate with and use these for your spiritual development and service to God and man. If the sole purpose is just to make money, you would probably be tempted to become dishonest in dealing with your clients, customers, and employees and probably business partners as well. You would actually be espousing the philosophy of materialism, neglecting the Spirit of God as the Source of all life.  

Based on my personal observation, almost always you can find an element of dishonesty and deception in many business activities today. It seems to me that this is already a common practice in business. These can be seen in the promotion and marketing strategies of different companies, salesmen selling their goods and services to householders and in various shops; as well as managing employees and their salaries.  This is not to mention the many problems and conflicts like politicking, infighting, and even corruptions going on within the business organizations itself.

Here are some of the dishonest practices that I observed of which I have been victim a couple of times here in Melbourne, Australia. A lot of times you can find in many shops (some are big companies) certain product placed in a different spot (mingled with other similar products but different specification) where the tag price is way cheaper than its actual price. You can tell that it was put there on purpose to confuse the customer because its specification is almost the same as the products in that spot. If you are not careful, you will immediately grab that product, head to the cashier, and when you learned of the actual price, you don’t want to return it anymore for some reason that maybe you were in a hurry and you need the item right away. There was an occasion when the cashier was even laughing at me for buying it. Sometimes you had already gone home before you knew from the receipt that the price was different. One time I almost became a victim of this maybe for the fourth time. But I returned the product after some disagreement with a staff who became apologetic afterwards. Another observation is you will find some companies having a convincing advertising slogan showing that their products are cheaper from competitors , but you will realize that they are not true if you buy from their shops; it is just to bait you to buy their products; some product requires accessories that are sold very costly, some will have a higher delivery cost. Almost always there is a hidden costs. I have encountered salesman of energy billing company offering lower rate than their competitors; after the convincing sales-talk, right away you can sign the documents and you have a new billing company with cheaper rate; but after a few months they raise the price much higher. You cannot terminate the contract because of a very high termination fee.  Some will say that even if you move to another place they will continue the contract if the place is within their domain, but if you move to a new house you are of course obliged to terminate the contract. You will not know much about this if you are new migrant and it’s your first time to move houses.  I noticed that there is a stiff energy billing competition here in Australia. Some will even say negative things against their competitor. Many of them pretend that they are just checking out if you have a correct energy rate, but it turns out that they are also one of the billing companies. I remember there was a time when we were in the city to eat dinner, when there was a celebration of democracy day. We entered a parking lot in a building offering a flat rate of $ 10.00. A lot of cars had already entered and almost no one could find any parking space because the parking is full. Almost every car would have to go outside the building. I noticed that some ahead of us were paying into the paying machine even if they did not park at all. I resolved that we will not pay anything even if we get to the boom gate to get out. Upon reaching the boom gate I inserted the parking card expecting that the gate will open because we were there inside for only 10 – 15 minutes and we did not park at all. But it flashes the payment of $10.00 instead. I tried to press the intercom button to talk to the security and to explain that we did not park inside. Immediately the voice from the intercom told us that we just have to press again the card button then the card will come out, reinsert it then the boom gate will open. Now how about those who paid. They were deceived, weren’t they? The administration or security should have flashed a full parking sign outside the building. I just wished that they did not intentionally put the sign knowing that some patrons will pay. Even in online business such as the selling of anti-virus software, malware and spyware, some of these companies I believe were the ones attacking a lot of internet users with virus. There are some software program that must be updated yearly and if you buy online, they will automatically deduct the payment from your credit card after a year. They must have put it in the agreement but who reads a lengthy agreement online? They should have let the customer know through question if they wanted to renew yearly; I know other online company that does that.

My wife a lot of times had returned products she bought from different shops because she found out later (even if the day had passed) that the price in the receipt is different from the tag price. One time there was a shop in the market that she used to buy goods from that she told the cashier in the face that she had encountered that a lot of times in their shop before the eyes of other customers. She told me that one of her friend had encountered that too. There are many similar examples of dishonesty in business that I am sure many of you have also encountered. It seems that these are common practices in the business community. Don’t you think that spirituality is so much needed in business and the workplace?

I know that there are also model companies out there that are worth telling but this writing is not intended to be an academic study where you can make surveys and interviews of some well-known business organizations. I would just like to put across some spiritual concepts that I have in mind that can be applied in business which can contribute to make a better workplace environment.

Management in the workplace

It will come to mind that by building a business itself, one is already helping the nation and society by providing employment and thus contribute to national economy. But we know that it must do more than that if the business will be used for spiritual progress as well because simply providing employment or money is not a guarantee for soul development, it may even be contradictory. It will be greatly beneficial if the management should foster a culture incorporating and inculcating values, ethics, and spirituality at work. If you were a business owner or a major stockholder, or part of the management team, you must determine how you can use your business to be of service to God and Man.  You must be concerned about your company’s dealing with customers and the quality of products or services that you render to the public. Your company will not be dishonest to the public just to get them buy your products and services to gain more profit; for that will be a disservice to God and man. You will not charge exorbitant fees or prices to your customers. In fact you must love them, fill their product needs and make friends. Your salesperson must be able to explain honestly why one product or service is cheaper and the other is higher and let them or help them decide which to choose. And this philosophy of loving and befriending customers should reflect throughout the rank and file.

An equal concern will be the welfare of the people in your organization. I am not an expert on business and organizational management, but I think it is just right that the management should be concerned with the welfare of their employees. This will foster good relationship between management and employees. There should be honesty and fairness on dealing with them as well as their salaries, safety, training, etc. There has to be no racism and politicking.  Teach values and set an example.

One of the things that I applaud in the workplace practice here in Australia is the improvement on safety practices where it considers not only the physical welfare but also the psychological and emotional welfare of workers. This is embodied in the Safety Act which puts into consideration that the workplace must really be a pleasant place to work in. This means it is not just direct prevention of accident but also takes into account the stress physically and psychologically on the workers for it will affect the health and consequently the work performance as well. This will include fostering harmonious relationships in the work environment. Some companies are having regular Toolbox meetings (safety meeting). I sometimes think that because it is somehow related with mind-body-spirit connectivity, injecting some spiritual sermons and value formation in the meeting can be of great help to them or perhaps creating a special committee to the same end. They can consider giving away free inspirational book as a reward for good performance. This aspect of work cannot be overlooked because of too much focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and profit by the management. I believe that the health and spiritual aspect must take precedent over the profit of the company.  

Making big profit can just be secondary. Making money is not the real reason for our existence anyway, we exist for God. We therefore use money for God. In my opinion, we don’t need to aspire to become $ multi-millionaire or billionaire for ego aggrandizement. We don’t need to have such amount of money simply for the purpose of comfortable living. We also cannot live on too much extravagance which could be a waste of energy and money that God provided us. Thus if you ever become multi-millionaire or billionaire, the excess money or profit of your business organization can be used for further service to God and people. Perhaps your company needs to allot finances for improvement on pollution controls and other environmental measures. Or maybe you should add an internal audit department if your company doesn’t have one for the purpose of continuous improvement of operations and service. Or maybe your company might consider product diversification or its expansion because you know that it will entail more jobs and employment and thus contribute to the national economy. Consequently, this will also gain more profit that can be allotted for donations to a good cause or charitable institutions.  We must remember that the help that we give especially for a good cause, will return to us as good karma in addition to our own spiritual development. In this perspective, managing business will become a means for spiritual practice. And I believe that if this kind of business philosophy - integrating money-making and spirituality - is practiced by all businessmen, it can actually be a cause for sustainable economy generation after generation leading to the flowering of the golden age.

Let me explain this further from a different angle.  From esoteric point of view, if you were able to get rich through corrupt practices, sooner or later that will be taken away from you by the law of karma if not in this life, in the next life. Aside from malicious practices, some businesses are actually not good for the spirituality and health of the public such as the cigarette industry, gambling, nightclubs as well as pornography and prostitution. (Some are actually considered a crime or illegal like illicit drugs, etc.). Yet these kind of businesses still thrives probably because many customers are patronizing it. You might think that this kind of businesses are contributing to the growth of the economy and also helps for the sociological needs of the people. I disagree with this for a practical reason that there are other constructive activities and businesses that can adequately replace these kind of business that are inimical to one’s spirituality and family life. In my opinion, if we will establish the kingdom of God on earth, these kind of business should have no place in our society. I believe the governments should regulate and conduct a program to gradually phase out these businesses. I believe that there are attendant negative karma for the supporters and operators of these businesses.

I believe that people or group who were able to get rich without considering values, ethics and the welfare of the people can get negative karma; again, if not in this life in their next life/incarnation on earth. By karmic law, it could be enough to cause economic recession considering the expanse of the business activity worldwide. It may also necessitate for some or many of them to be born in the poor segment of society, and thus the existence of poor environment remains. Some of these souls might find it hard to rise up because of their negative momentum until they learn their lessons and acknowledge that only God is the Source of abundant life. Depending upon the extent of accumulated misqualified energy in their karmic records, some souls may have been alternately rich and poor in their sojourn on earth incarnations after incarnation because their outer consciousness are ignorant of or ignoring the law of karma and reincarnation. They may have balanced their karma in one incarnation and then failed in the next because their minds are governed by acquiring material wealth but devoid of spirit. Thus the Teachings on the law of karma and reincarnation as well as the violet flame must be spread down to the grassroots level to be of help in the raising up of souls, and to transmute and mitigate karma individually and collectively.

Another thing that I would like to discuss is competition in business. I reckon that if every business manager will view business and work as service to God and man, there will be no business competition. You will not compete on serving God but rejoice in one another’s sacred labor. You will work complementing one another’s work and possibly consider alliances instead of competition. You will not be driven by desire to monopolize the market and gain exclusive profit but to share the service. All will be working with common goal of serving God and man.

Employees at work 

One of the concept that I would like to get across for the workers or employees is that their real employer is God. Once more, whatever type of work we are in – whether it is professional service, government and private office work, factory work and many others – I believe that it has to be viewed as a service to God and man. We work for the benefit of everyone. We work not only for ourselves and our family but also for the benefit of the client or customer (general public), for the benefit of the company, for the benefit of co-workers and for the benefit of the nation. Work relationships and ethics therefore must be given paramount importance.

As a worker, it is our duty to do great service to the client/customer which can be considered as the general public. If you have this in mind, you would like to have a good quality product or service that will satisfy the client. You will not be doing your work just to get a good pay from the company.  Good pay of course is desirable, but we cannot jeopardize our good service to the general public by not doing our work well simply because our pay is not good enough for the service that we render. Negotiating a good pay with your company is another matter which I believe must also be approached in harmonious relationship.  We also work for the benefit of our co-worker. That means camaraderie and teamwork to get the job done well. A little work-sacrifice on our part can sometimes be given if it’s within your capacity to do so in order to get the work completed on time  and will engender good camaraderie as well. Although of course we should know whether a worker is intentionally not doing his duty/responsibility because of incompetence, lack of training, or maybe laziness where in this case proper correction and direction must be done. There should be a spirit of cooperation to improve the work and service to the public.

We should therefore abstain from politicking in the workplace.  I think this is the area where many employees are falling victims into. Sometimes simply because of politics and professional jealousy, a worker or employee surreptitiously does something foolish that will make his/her co-worker put into bad light even if they know it will jeopardize their client/s.  They do not care even if the product or service and consequently the image of their own company will be badly affected. These kind of politicking are done because of insecurity or the desire to be above his/her co-workers.  In my experience in the workplace here in Australia, many times you will find how a new worker will be disgruntled because everyone becomes his/her boss. And even some supervisor or his assistant does not teach fully the method of work for the newcomers perhaps intentionally to see him commit mistakes and put him into bad light. It doesn’t matter to them whether the operation of the factory or product quality will be affected or not. In a multi-cultural country like Australia, these kind of politicking at work often happen because of racial discrimination. It can be observed that those who do this thing are oftentimes new or not-so-old immigrants. Long-time immigrants usually are aware of this and friendly to the new immigrants. It is the duty of the management to give directions on non-discrimination in the workplace as racial discrimination is against the law. We should remember that our soul has no colour or race. Our soul is a universal citizen of the cosmos. We are all brothers and sisters. We are all sons and daughters of God.  We can bear in mind that politicking in any form in any place at any time has no place in the Kingdom of God.

We can consider our work as service to God and as a means for meditation. We can practice the mindfulness meditation where we always observe our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions and correct them if not good. We can use work as time for self-mastery, building good attitude and practicing Christly virtues. We can meditate on our I AM Presence helping and guiding us in our work. We are to aspire or imitate our great Master Jesus who said, “My Father works hitherto and I work”, and “I of my own self can do nothing, it is the Father in me who doeth the work.”  Bearing this in mind, we will be working the works of God with love, happiness, and harmony.

My we include in our prayers and calls that the businesses and workplaces in our nations be transformed and imbued with Spirituality.

MESSAGES THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Recently I happen to watch a film on TV “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. I have only watched part of it because it just caught my attention when I turned the TV on. Maybe some of you have watched this movie. It seems that it is about aliens who have been on earth whose spaceships were hidden for a long time. Their ships are spherical sparkling with lights of sort.  As I understand it, a big mother ship has just landed on earth and one of them was able to be in human form (acted by Keanu Reeves) that enabled him to be in direct contact and communicate with earth’s inhabitants. They are very powerful aliens that exhibit some form of extra sensory perception and with far advanced technology. It seems that according to them the earth will have to be destroyed because mankind has not changed. There was a scene where one of the actor uttered a dialogue to Keanu Reeves, ”It is in the precipice that we change”. This statement somehow lingered in my mind. I thought that that statement is true. Many times when one experiences the greatest trial in life or what maybe called the dark night of the soul, he/she begins to turn to the living God in the most profound way and change. Somehow it came to my mind, is it not wise if we change without having to go to the precipice point in our life?

The movie however cannot be considered a good movie from the perspective of Ascended Masters Teaching. It is because it portrays and supports an alien consciousness where the aliens were considered as the savior instead of our God Presence. You maybe aware of some group who espouse this kind of belief. As far as I know, according to the Ascended Master Teachings through the Summit Lighthouse the false gods and idols that are mentioned in the Old Testament actually represents the fallen angels/aliens in their spacecraft. It could not just be a statue for why will they consider a mere statue their god?  

This takes me back to another movie which title I cannot tell you because I forgot it anyway. It was a long time ago already. I consider it a bad movie because two well-known Hollywood actors acted as bad folks that somehow depicts as if it is alright to commit crime. However there was a scene that brought tears to my eyes that somehow gave a profound message to me. Then I somehow realized that even a bad movie can give you a good message.

This doesn’t mean that you should always watch bad movies of course. I rarely watch movies. I have only watched one movie in cinema since I arrived here in Australia in 2007 except movies for the kids which we probably did three times.      

Speaking of good and powerful messages, there are plenty that you can find in Ascended Master Teachings and Organizations.  You can read their books most of them are bible-based. You can visit their websites, read and listen to dictations, listen to online radio, and participate in the decree service. Immersing yourself to the Teachings of the Ascended Masters will change you and your life. It will bring you closer to your Holy Christ Self and God Presence and the Ascended Masters. It is the shortest path to your Ascension.

Boxing is not a good sport

I agree with people who think that boxing today is not a good sport. The boxers in the ring are definitely trying to throw good punches that if possible will knock his opponent out. I don’t think that it is okay to hurt each other in the name of sport. It is known that constant pounding of the head by the gloves can cause injury in the brain. I believe that each of the boxers in the ring is creating their own karma. More so, if there is some sort of vengeance or anger while playing the sport. The audience can possibly be creating their own karma too. Imagine the audience taking pleasure watching the boxers throwing punches to each other, even yelling and coaching them to give a good punch.

I myself was a victim of this sort of activity while watching the recent Pacquiao-Marquez fight. I was even yelling, “Give him a hook!”. Then suddenly, I began to realize that what I was doing and what was going on in the atmosphere was not good. I have somewhat forgotten that I once had a concept that boxing is not a good sport. This is the reason why I don’t usually watch boxing. Then I became silent momentarily and ask for forgiveness and leave everything to God knowing that he and his cosmic law is the ultimate arbiter of what was going on in the ring. When the game is over, I surmised that it was Pacquiao’s karma considering that he commented in an interview that he will focus on making the fight short. That means he had an intention to knock Marquez out. Besides, he had already so many fights which could have incurred unto him a number of negative thoughts, feelings as well as punches against his opponents. And the cycle of negative karma has now returned to him.

Perhaps, in order to make boxing a better sport, the boxers in the ring should wear a sort of protective helmet like the one they use during practice with their sparring partner. And maybe, also wear a protection to the body. That way, no one will be knocked out; it will only be a matter of who gets the highest points wins. Boxing will then be an exhibition of skills, which is beautiful.

I believe, the sport of boxing today is contrary to the spiritual teaching of compassion and mercy. Imagine having fun seeing one person battering another in the name of sport. There is definitely no compassion in it. I think, this is also true to other similar kind of sport.
